The grounds were extensive and offered peaceful scenery. Our room was quite spacious and included two comfortable chairs, nice for relaxation in the room.
There was a noticeable delay at check-in due to the reception being understaffedwith a queue. I had to wait about 20 minutes to complete the process.

quiet room comfy bed friendly staff ample parking
i found a lovely room that was nice and quiet. the bed provided great comfort and the bathroom was good. ample parking space exists. the staff at reception displayed top notch professionalism and were friendly.
the dinner menu seemed to be somewhat limited in terms of choice, which may be a slight inconvenience for some guests.

spacious grounds amazing food kindness reception
I found the grounds and gardens were spacious. the breakfast food selection suited me well. the staff greeted me with kindness. Their attention to details mattered. the building is gorgeous and steeped in history. the food was amazing, i found.
i found limited housekeeping services , which required some adjustments on my part.

dirty carpet shower mildew
The lack of cleanliness was a MAJOR issue. I noticed stains on the carpet and dust accumulation in the corners. The bathroom also showed signs of neglect with mildew in the shower grout ( disgusting!). It DEFINITELY made me question the overall hygiene standards of the place.

The Executive King Suite Non-Smoking was spacious and well-kept. It had two comfortable armchairs and a large work desk. The bathroom featured both a shower and a separate bathtub. I found the availability of multiple electrical outlets very convenient for charging my devices.
I found that the soundproofing between rooms was insufficient, and I could sometimes hear noise from adjacent rooms. THIS affected my ability to relax fully in the evening.
